This movie explains Charlie’s life and how he evolves through time and in what situations he finds himself in the beginning we see him taking his medications and how he is going to enter high school but when he is there he is always alone even though his sister was there and other friends he felt lonely but he still got a friend who was his literature teacher. A few days later, he went to a soccer game where he met Patrick and Sam at first he thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend but they told him they were stepbrothers. Sam. At first he thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend but they told him they were step brothers. After that, he joined the group and at the homecoming dance they danced together and then they went to a party where he tried a Space Brownie and started talking gibberish. When he tried to go upstairs to the bathroom he discovered Patrick making out with Brad. After that Sam told Patrick that Charlie didn’t have any other friends so they joined the group and he started getting along with the others in the group.

One of many nights he went to the game that they organized and helped Sam to study day by day until December where they decided to do a secret santa where Charlie gave everyone a present and Sam gave Charlie a typewriter for his birthday also Patrick gave Charlie a watch and Sam and Charlie kissed for the first time. Then Charly helps Patrick when several boys hit him and there they become best friends and spend a lot time together.

Patrick and Sam are going to move to college and organize a farewell party, that is when Charly confesses his love to Sam and they Kiss each other. They notice the connection they have. When Sam and Patrick go to college, Charly has a crisis and is taken to a psychiatric hospital in that point is when he unlocks a traumatic event he lived when he was little. Definitely it is a film that you have to see, it talks about teenagers real problems with which you can feel identified and the music in every scene is perfect.
